Remembering Ruthie Rescue
Helping Senior Dogs Since 2012
About Us
Remembering Ruthie Rescue is a foster based rescue pulling high risk dogs from shelters in the South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee areas.
We are a 501c3 organization whose main office is located in Georgia.
RRR was founded in 2012 in memory of a rescue dog, Ruthie, who tragically passed from Parvo while in foster care. That day, founding members Sally & Steve Parker began the journey to creating a safe haven for dogs in need.
Our Mission
The main focus of our efforts goes to those often overlooked in shelters....senior dogs. Many senior dogs have received some type of neglect throughout their lives, and are in dire health when they come to us. We strive to save as many lives as possible by getting them the medical treatment and care they need.
Rescue
Creating a Safe Haven
We are dedicated to making a difference for the helpless and voiceless. We seek to create a home for those truly in need of love, care, and shelter.
Foster
Helping Those in Need
With our mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies to make our Rescue efforts more effective. We depend on our amazing network of fosters so we can continue rescuing as many dogs as possible.
Ways to Give
There are many ways to support the animal welfare work taking place at Remembering Ruthie Rescue.
